This year is our first attempt at a garden. Mostly, it's Kevin's garden. I like to claim ownership, but I really only helped set it up the FIRST time. It's been Kevin who replanted everything when we realized we planted too early and frost claimed a number of plants and him, also, who waters and weeds on a regular basis.
But I digress.
Monday, after being away all weekend at the beach, Kevin wandered out to water and found this full grown pepper and zucchini ready to pick and eat. YEAH! Besides the one cherry tomato and two itty bitty strawberries we've picked, this is our first REAL harvest. I'm excited now for the rest of the summer!
