So this morning at church a friend of mine who is a nurse told me I looked puffy and that I needed to go get my blood pressure checked. I didnt really FEEL that more puffy than normal - I seem to ALWAYS be puffy of late. But, we swung by CVS pharmacy as a precaution and checked it out. To our surprise, it was 160/90. That's REALLY high for me - I'm usually around 100/70 to 120/70. So we called the doctor and he had us go into the hospital to get checked out further.
Once we were there they hooked me up the the fetal monitor and checked my blood pressure. It started to go down a bit, but still stayed a little high. Then they took some blood and said I looked all right for now and sent me home. Kev and I just got back from a couple mile walk and I've been having steady contractions about 5 minutes apart for the last 45 minutes. Could this be it??? We'll be calling the doc again here soon to find out!
Whoo Hoo! I may NOT have to go to work tomorrow! *grin*

I thought for sure when I checked in today I'd see a baby announcement!!! Hopefully she'll be here soon on her own accord! Kudos to you for hanging in there and still going to work! It must be uncomfortable...
